Head of Marketing and Communications (f/m/d)

Position summary

We are seeking a creative, inspiring and motivated Head of Marketing and Communications to spread our compelling story. Working closely with the management, the other Head of Departments and our 11 country offices you will play a leading role in further developing and strengthening our brand, raising more awareness for our cause thus supporting our partners in their fundraising activities, growing and diversifying our audience and nurturing our relationships with our donors, partners, media and the broad public. Your work will ensure that we deliver against key targets in our Strategy 2025 and that RED NOSES continue to thrive and become an integral part of the healthcare environment.

Your tasks

  • Leading and implementing the International Brand identity Process
  • Support in conception and implementation of marketing and communication activities in all our local Partner Offices
  • Ensuring the CI implementation in the RN Group on all levels
  • Increase brand visibility and awareness internationally
  • Support the local offices in increasing local brand awareness with a strong focus on supporting fundraising activities
  • Undertake continuous analysis and evaluation of own activities and benchmark with peer landscape and global industry trends
  • Contribute to an advocacy driven communication in line with the RN strategy
  • Support national and international FR strategies by leveraging digital FR offers

Your background

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Marketing/Communications with a proven track record of success, preferably in the NPO sector or related areas
  • Great understanding for CEE markets
  • Fundamental understanding of fundraising activities, especially direct marketing and online fundraising
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluency in German and English) – CEE languages are an advantage
  • Leading and implementing the International Brand identity Process
  • Able to work at both strategic and “hands on” levels simultaneously
  • Strong organizational, analytical and multi-tasking skills with a strong ability of interlaced thinking
  • Strong team player, ability to work under pressure and high level of initiative
  • Positive and resilient with an attitude of support
  • Passion for working in a diverse and international organization
  • Great sense of humour

  • 38,50 hours/week

  • Reports to the RNI Managing Director
  • Travel may be required, depending on developing safety regulations

Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Expert (f/m/d)

Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Expert (f/m/d)

(One-Year Limited Contract), 30 hours/week

Position summary

RED NOSES International is an artistic and humanitarian organization engaging with different vulnerable groups (children in hospitals, children with disabilities, elderly people and children in crisis situations) through the art of clowning. The RNI Office in Vienna is the Headquarters for eleven RNI Offices throughout Europe and the Middle East, and is also responsible for implementing the Emergency Smile programme, which brings clowning to children in crisis situations around the world.

RNI is looking for a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Expert for a one-year limited contract. The Expert will have two primary tasks: lead an evaluation on the impact of clowning, and develop and implement MEL activities for the Emergency Smile programme. Working closely with the Programme and Artistic Departments, s/he will design qualitative and quantitative research tools; lead data collection and analysis; create and disseminate engaging reports, and develop strategies to maximize the uptake of lessons learned.

Your tasks

EVIDENCE GENERATING

  • Lead a needs assessment for the Emergency Smile programme
  • Develop and implement MEL activities for the Emergency Smile programme

KNOWLEDGE SHARING

  • Analyse data and communicate learnings on a regular basis, and develop strategies to maximise the uptake of lessons learned
  • Produce reports and presentations suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences

INTERNAL CAPACITY BUILDING

  • Support capacity-building activities throughout RNI in how to complete reports and how to conduct evaluations, interviews, and surveys

Your background

  • Master’s degree in social science or related field
  • Proven technical and relevant experience in Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning for humanitarian, development, artistic, or cultural programmes
  • Sound understanding of research methodology (both quantitative and qualitative)
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills with high standards of quality and the courage to implement innovative ideas
  • A committed and enthusiastic, proactive team player
  • Experience in conducting research in relevant fields (medical, artistic/cultural) an advantage
  • Experience conducting research with children an advantage
  • Fluent written and spoken English required, further languages an advantage

  • Reports to the RNI Research and Evaluation Manager
  • Travel may be required, depending on developing safety regulations
