IT Strategist (f/m/d)

Unlimited Contract, min. 30 hours per week

Position summary

RED NOSES International is an artistic and humanitarian organization engaging with different vulnerable groups (children in hospitals, children with disabilities, elderly people and children in crisis situations) through the art of clowning. The RNI Office in Vienna is the Headquarter for 11 RNI Offices throughout Europe and the Middle East and is also responsible for implementing the Emergency Smile programme, which brings clowning to children in crisis situations around the world.

RNI is looking for an IT Strategist for an unlimited contract (30 hours per week). The IT Strategist will play a big role in the digitalisation processes at RED NOSES. In close cooperation with the Organisational Development Department and local IT resources the IT strategist will support to reach the respective goals of RED NOSES’ global Strategy 2025, striving for more agility and resilience in the international organisation. A key area of work will be leading the groupwide implementation and further development of Microsoft Office 365 as single tenant solution: initial set-up, migration, and then the evaluation and implementation of projects and initiatives involving Microsoft 365 services, to ensure its smooth and frictionless operations. Working in the Headquarters of an international organisation requires excellent facilitation skills in groupwide collaborative digitalisation processes. The IT Strategist identifies digitalisation needs and opportunities to define the suitable IT strategies for RED NOSES.

Your tasks

  • Implementing, testing, maintenance, and improvement of software solutions in M365 on group level according to RED NOSES strategy 2025
  • Facilitation of group wide digitalization processes
  • Focal person for collaboration with external partner companies if required.
  • Technical consulting regarding M365/Azure Environments in use at RED NOSES International group and ensure hereby M365/Azure knowledge is documented and shared amongst the IT team
  • Technical leading of projects and being a contact-person for the project owners as well as assisting, designing and implementing projects for all departments within IT-related topics.
  • Maintain an active approach and keep skills up to date on M365 and Azure

Your profile

  • Computer Science related degree or related field
  • Enterprise administration expertise
  • Experience with cloud technologies (preferably Azure)
  • Open mindset
  • Hands on mentality and taking initiative
  • Fluent written and spoken English required, further languages an advantage
  • A committed and enthusiastic, proactive team player
  • Positive and resilient with an attitude of support and diplomacy
  • Passion for working in a diverse and international organization
  • Great sense of humour
  • Clean Police Record
  • Willingness to be vaccinated (especially COVID)

Position details

  • Unlimited contract.
  • Min. 30 hours/week
  • Reports to the Deputy Managing Director
  • Vienna based (work permission) candidates are preferred but not a requirement. However, a suitable candidate should be willing and able to work from Vienna, attend meetings etc. on a regular basis

The minimum wage for this position is EUR 49,000.00 gross per annum (for 38.50 hours per week).
