PIROS ORR, the first professional clown care organisation in Eastern Europe, was founded in 1996 by ROTE NASEN Clowndoctors Österreich. Since 2003 PIROS ORR has been working independently from its founding organisation and now successfully cares for 12 hospitals in Budapest, Pécsi, Miskolc and Györ.

The main task of RED NOSES International in Hungary is the continuous training and further education of the clowns as well as regular supervision in order to improve the artistic and psychological quality of the work in hospitals. The high quality standards of the RED NOSES group must prevail in all national activities especially within the areas of fundraising, public relations and management. This can be achieved by the common formulation of strategies and guidelines plus frequent monitoring and auditing.
