The offspring of the famous Teatr Licedei were currently performing in a show in the TIPI AM KANZLERAMT. The two groups of artists actually met at the premiere of the show and were fascinated by each other. Although the guests only spoke Russian, they were able to communicate well in "clown language."
At 13:00 the four RN clowns and the five Russian clowns met up in the cloakroom of the TIPI AM KANZLERAMT. The RBB team shot the first scenes between 13:00 and 14:30: meeting of the two groups, transformation from actor to clown in the cloakroom, interviews.
At 14:30 all clowns and the film team departed for the Otto-Heubner Centre in the Charité. Jana and Victoria went directly to Sonnenhof whilst Reinhard and Martina represented RED NOSES in the Charité.
All clowns arrived in the Otto-Heubner Centre at around 15:00. In the meantime Paul had already talked with the ward nurses, chosen children, gotten photo and film permission from parents and prepared everything for the TV team and the clowns.
First the clowns were accompanied to all three hospital rooms by the RBB film team after which a short interview with the clowns and represetatives of the hospital was held.
Much to the joy of the children, both clown groups performed some acts together. Of course they had to adapt to the special circumstances of being in a hospital patient's room.
The mini Russian rocking horse was a sensation. The trick here was that after pumping the tail, a small ball emerged.
The two clown groups could exchange differences and similarities of their work experiences. The film team captured some nice moments of hospital clowning and can therefore show the film to a wider audience.
Conclusion: a wonderful event with Russian colleagues.
