Crveni Nosevi is ready to go!

The establishment of RED NOSES clown programmes in our future partner country, Croatia, is in full swing.

Zoran Vukic, a Croatian actor and passionate clown, will take over the artistic leadership of the new organisation, Crveni Nosevi.  It was Zoran who initially contacted RED NOSES International to ask for assistance, as it had been his long-standing dream to bring joy and laughter into the hospital environment.

Our new programme will start at the “Clinical Hospital Rebro” in Zagreb, where the children’s departments are eagerly awaiting the kickoff of the clown visits there.

RED NOSES International will thoroughly train all future RED NOSES clowns in Croatia for their assignment in the hospital.  They have already started working on required clownesque skills and the art of improvisation by attending intensive workshops and training sessions.  In addition they will receive basic training in medical and psychological issues.

RED NOSES International received legal support for the founding of the new partner organisation from the renowned lawyer’s office WOLF THEISS.  The well known business and tax consultancy firm, Leitner+Leitner, assisted with all tax issues.

A charity concert in favour of Crveni Nosevi took place on 22^nd December.  International stars like Gloria Gaynor and the famous Croatian opera singer, Ivo Gamulin Gianni, joined together for this good cause.

The event enabled us to provide the initial financing for the clown visits.
