International Clown Workshop in Štoky

The 2009 RED NOSES International Clown Workshop was held at the end of August in the town of Štoky in the Czech Republic. During the four days, 120 clowns from the six RNI partner countries gathered together for an intensive exchange of artistic experiences. These annual common workshops prove very fruitful for the professional daily routine of the clowns in the hospital setting.

Lots of new ideas are born and rehearsed, different techniques fine-tuned and music pieces played and perfected during the training sessions. Every evening all participants had the opportunity to perform what they'd learnt during the day. This was a lot of fun for everybody and also good for training purposes - critique close to home is often the best. Once again, it was very exciting.
